Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of DubVoicer (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

DubVoicer is a browser-based voice dubbing game. It lets you record your voice over short scenes and, in future releases, create and publish scenes of your own. Unofficial fan/community web experience. Not affiliated with the original Choicer Voicer game developer.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to publish creator content.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload or record content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone's rights.
• Upload footage, music or audio you do not own or have a licence for.
• Attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, reverse engineer or overload the Service.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent the origin of content.

4. Your content

Recordings you make during a session stay on your device unless you choose to save or share them. When you upload or publish content, you keep ownership and grant DubVoicer a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, stream, adapt (for example, to generate thumbnails or timelines) and distribute it as needed to operate and promote the Service. You can delete your content at any time, which ends this licence except for copies already shared by others or held in backups for a limited period.

5. Uploader warranty

By uploading, you confirm that you have all rights necessary to the material, that it does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights, and that DubVoicer may remove it at any time, for any reason, without notice.

6. Moderation

Public scenes are reviewed before listing. We may reject, edit metadata for, restrict or remove any content and may suspend accounts that repeatedly violate these terms. See the copyright policy and DMCA page for rights complaints.

7. Scores and game features

Scores are for entertainment only and are computed by deterministic rules that may change. They are not a measure of talent or of similarity to any real person.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DubVoicer and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (currently zero).

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be signalled on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
